Anusha Sumugam and Jeremy Schnell Join GreenGen’s Expanding Program Management Team

BETHESDA, MD – April 27, 2022 – Green Generation (GreenGen), a leading global provider of energy efficiency solutions to commercial real estate, private equity, and governments, announced that Anusha Sumugam and Jeremy Schnell have joined our team as program managers to support GreenGen’s expansion of offerings and services. Based in Texas and Ohio respectively, Anusha and Jeremy will be responsible for executing GreenGen’s solutions and implementation strategy. Anusha is the cross-functional engineer and Jeremy is the project analyst; they will integrate clients and stakeholders during the energy plan development and end-to-end execution.

Anusha has 16 years of energy engineering experience identifying and quantifying energy conservation opportunities associated with HVAC systems, EMCS (energy management and control system), building shell and boiler and chilled water plant systems, renewable energy in ESPC (energy saving performance contracts) projects. She has a proven track record of delivering on-time results leveraging deep understanding of the technology and ability to function in high performance and diverse projects requiring cross functional coordination.

Jeremy has 12 years of experience in program management, most recently managing project teams for GE Current, ensuring retrofit programs ran efficiently and developing and driving sourcing strategies on rollouts. He continuously managed vendors and materials and negotiated favorable pricing for successful project implementation.

Prior to joining GreenGen, Anusha was a project development engineer at Armstrong Fluid Technology, where she was responsible for conservation measures and implementation. Before Armstrong, Anusha worked as a Project Development Engineer for AMERESCO in Dallas, TX and as Energy Engineer for NORESCO in Boston, MA, where she managed performance contracting energy engineering services for diverse set of clients.

Jeremy previously worked with US LED as a vendor relations manager, overseeing the project management team to ensure successful implementation of LED retrofits. Prior to that, Jeremy was at Current, powered by GE, where he was a Global Commodity Leader.
