GreenGen Achieves First Ever Excellent BREEAM-In-Use V6 Office Certification in Italy
LONDON, UK – May 31, 2022 – Green Generation (GreenGen), a leading global provider of ESG solutions to real estate and private equity investors, as well as governments, announced that it has achieved the first Excellent BREEAM-in-use office certification in Italy under the new and improved Version 6 environmental standard for existing buildings. Version 6 comes with a host of new and improved features that build upon BREEAM’s industry-leading standards for driving environmental performance and occupant health and wellbeing with added emphasis on resilience to climate change, social value and circular economy principles.
The project in Milan – Via Principe Amedeo 5, Italy, is owned by a closed-end real estate Alternative Investment Fund (FIA) named “Thesaurus” which is managed by Kryalos SGR and subscribed by real estate investment funds belonging to Blackstone.
The certification is a testament to the asset management activities performed by GreenGen, Kryalos SGR and Blackstone to align the asset with the highest sustainability standards, energy efficiency commitments and emissions reduction targets.
