Beau is a member of the project management team where he is responsible for the implementation of contracted projects, including maintaining budgets and timelines. In the last four years, Beau has implemented over 50 projects in 15 states, including lighting, chiller plants, solar PV systems, and controls for publicly traded REITs and private equity firms, as well as government agencies including GSA, US Forest Service, and Customs and Border Protection.
Throughout his work experience prior to GreenGen, Beau held many positions of responsibility; most recently, he finished interning at Sustainable Oil Service, a cooking oil recycler along the Front Range of Colorado. At the zero-waste facility, he learned the fundamentals of how a truly sustainable business converts all waste streams into recycled products. He executed tasks regarding the extraction, conversion, and distribution of cooking oil to B100 bio-diesel. Additionally, he converted the byproducts of the bio-diesel production into biodegradable soaps, degreasers, and adhesive removers.
As a graduate of the University of Colorado’s highly touted environmental studies program, Beau is excited to continue his education and work experience in the sustainable energy field. Having spent the past four years in Boulder, Colorado, the country’s leader in environmental stewardship and consciousness, Beau has decided to devote his career path towards this field of work.
